This is from WBRZ this morning; state treasurer John Kennedy takes issue with some of the budget proposals Gov. Jindal has made for the upcoming session. He doesn’t like tuition increases at state colleges, for example, and he’s touting once again the stuff he’s already talked about – dumping consultant contracts and shrinking the state work force through attrition.
It will be interesting to see whether Kennedy’s agenda gets any play at the legislature, or if it does what the leges think about some of his ideas as they debate the budget.
