Pat Robertson at one point had some relevance and was a worthy voice for social conservatives. He wasn’t, at that time, anywhere near the caricature and the hatemonger the Left made him out to be.

Over the last 10 years, though, he’s been slipping.

And here’s proof…

The thing is, you can be a social conservative without being like Pat Robertson. You can object to certain lifestyles that empirically aren’t healthy for society or even good for the folks who engage in them without being like Pat Robertson.

But when you’re like Pat Robertson you’re not going to get anywhere. You’re not even helping social conservatives. You’re going to embarrass them. Saying lefty women have abortions to be like lesbians is just crazy talk. It helps the Left.

Pat needs to get off the air. He’s had a nice run, but it’s time to retire.
