This clip comes from the Cambridge Union, at a debate on whether war with Iran was preferable to a nuclear Iran (as though that is actually the choice). The speaker’s name is Douglas Murray, and he’s something of Great Britain’s answer to Charles Krauthammer or George Will. Murray, however, is a vigorous opponent of Islamic jihad and an unabashed proponent of what people would call neoconservatism – or at least of continuing the fight against Muslim imperialism within his country and elsewhere.

Murray isn’t sparing in his condemnation of Britain and Europe at large in their dealings with both Iran and Israel. Those among our readers who call themselves Ron Paul supporters might consider his remarks and the fact that they come from someplace divorced from the internal American debate over Iran.
