Obama’s Flight Of Fancy

Beaurat Obama safely exited the Afghan killing fields after signing a flight of fancy informing al-Qaeda and the Taliban of our support for the Karzai administration. We’ll supply logistical support and training for people more recognizable as Huns than modern warriors, until the year 2024.

That ought to scare the bejeesuz out of them as Obama is recognized as a true realist displaying a high level of political acumen (second only to William Hoover, former president of the vacuum cleaner company) when it comes to diplomacy in the Middle East. (Yeah R-i-i-g-h-t!)

And as Hamid Karzai (the wealthy son of wealthy Sunnis most deeply involved in trying to civilize Afghan politics) is the other signatory of this piece of pap; I’m sure we can all breathe more easily knowing his enemies, the Shiite Muslims, are as well read on what’s in the Qur’an as he is. They’ll surely honor this treaty with all their stone-aged little hearts. Obama should drop his book: The Audacity of a Dope and pick up a copy of the Qur’an (Koran) and not as a matter of reverence; but so he’ll better understand the tactical applications of religion in warfare.

He should go to Qur’an 16:106 where he’ll find the justification and circumstances under which a Muslim believer may lie with impunity. From there he can take an enlightening journey through the pages of religious antiquity to peruse and become informed of what it says in Reliance of the Traveler; the book telling you what you really want to know about Islam teachings. It quantifies and states approximately 80 percent of Saudi and other Islamic countries law. Four Islamic schools use this book as a reference/guide where it applies to society and everyday life.

Muslim believers may lie to unbelievers in order to defeat them. There are two approved ways to do this: through Taqiyya (in which you speak lies) and Kitman (where your lies are a product of selective statement and thus artful omission). There are numerous references to Mohammed’s lying as a tactic to enter into contact with and then slaughter his enemies. Mohammed said Allah approves of liars in this instance as reflected in Qur’an 3:54: “…and the disbelievers schemed and Allah schemed against them and Allah is the best of schemers.”

When it comes to quantifying the actual radicalism of either the Sunni or Shiite religions you must go back to the rule book: the Qur’an. As with any faith the words/teachings are open to interpretation. From there interpretation becomes a matter of perspective and the angrier the viewer, the greater the pendulum swing from intellectual acceptance to ideological intransigence.

Throughout Islam and the Koran there are scholars who are accepted as authorities on what was originally a tradition of passing Mohammed’s teachings orally to the next generation. Imam Al-Bukhari [in his tract (49:857)] states lying is permitted when the end justifies the means. In the reference: Reliance of the Traveler, the author Ahmad Ibn Lulu Ibn Al-Naqib, in the 14th Century said on page 746-8.2: “Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible (when the purpose of lying is to circumvent someone who is preventing one from doing something permissible), and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory… it is religiously precautionary in all cases to employ words that give a misleading impression…”

When a nation’s diplomacy is determined by a fundamental integration of religious zealotry into the political discourse the problems become evident. Where politics shows the devil is in the details it MUST be recognized the details may unmask the devil.

Expecting religious zealots to play by modern rules will always result in us losing. They feel God justifies everything they do.

Great photo-op Beaurat, but nothing good’s going to come from it. Oh. And Beaurat? Afghan natives can’t vote in American elections.

Thanks for listening.
