We found these thanks to Quin Hillyer at American Spectator. They’re indictments of our president’s policies in Libya, and they’re pretty well done.
And then this, from a YouTube user calling himself BenghaziTruth. Did you know there was a video of the bomb going off outside the wall of the consulate in Benghazi in June? We didn’t either, but here it is…
Wonder if our intelligence agencies saw that video, or if anybody in the State Department had seen it before they’d pulled the security team out.
Not that the presence of a video of the bomb going off should have made a difference. They knew that consulate had been bombed, and they knew all the other Western countries had bugged out of Benghazi. Those facts alone establish that maintaining a consulate there despite a level of security our diplomatic mission constantly complained was inadequate was evidence of criminal stupidity.
And given that the president wasn’t attending his intelligence briefings most of the time before the attack, something which had been documented and a stink made about it before the attack happened, and given that this kind of thing is what one would expect would come up in a daily intelligence briefing when the president actually attends it rather than just reading a crib sheet of it, it’s pretty clear the quality of management and administration we got from the White House where Libya was concerned.
With four dead bodies, including our ambassador for the first time since 1979, as our harvest.
