Just got that tip from a source close to the source. Roll Call will have a piece on it shortly.
This makes three of the five current Republican members of the Louisiana House delegation, as John Fleming and Charles Boustany have already endorsed the state senator from Columbia.
Word is that Bill Cassidy is sitting that race out.
Which leaves Rodney Alexander – who hasn’t officially made an endorsement and probably won’t until he knows whether his chief of staff Adam Terry will get into the race. Alexander can’t stiff Terry by endorsing Riser; that would be bad form. Of course, Alexander and Riser are fairly close – so don’t be surprised if his endorsement falls soon as well while Terry opts out of the race.
