Remember Landrieu’s Report On Illegal Private Jet Flights? Well, It’s Gone

Back in August, it was exposed that Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) had broken federal law 43 times since 2002 by charging taxpayers for private plane flights to campaign fundraising events, costing taxpayers $33,727.02.

This only came to light after multiple reports that Landrieu had illegally flown on private jets at the taxpayers expense, which then prompted Landrieu to conduct an internal review of all of her private flights over the last couple of years.

The report, which was days late at the time, was made available on her website. But, not anymore, as the report is gone.

Previously, the private flight review was available on Landrieu’s campaign website. But, the review and spreadsheet of all of the flights have been taken down. Now, the links simply direct users to Landrieu’s campaign site homepage. And if you try to search for the records, you won’t find anything.

At the time, it was revealed that 1 out of every 10 travel dollars spent by Landrieu was improperly charged to taxpayers.
