Well, Here’s A Flat-Out Lie…

…our president was in Brisbane, Australia over the weekend and in response to a Jonathan Gruber question he parroted Nancy Pelosi’s “Gruber who?” babblings.

Specifically, Obama said the MIT professor who he paid $400,000 to write much of the substance of Obamacare was “some adviser who never worked on our staff.”

He’s clearly lying, which is apparent from the stuttering and halting delivery of his answer to Fox News’ Ed Henry and the straw man argument over the question of whether Obamacare was fully debated prior to its passage (it was, and Obama lost that debate badly, but he rammed it through anyway with the help of his leaders in the House and Senate who the American people have since dislodged from their positions).

But to the extent it’s technically true that Gruber “never worked on our staff,” when there is no question that Gruber played a significant role in crafting the legislation, it only shows that Obama is lying about something else; namely, his purported disagreement with Gruber over the intelligence of the American people. Obama believes without doubt that we’re stupid, and he proved it in Brisbane.

The good news? Nobody believes this man anymore. He doesn’t particularly care, but nobody believes him.
