Louisiana is open for business.
At least that’s how a new report in Chief Executive Magazine reports it. According to the new report, the state ranks number seven as the best state to do business in. Last year, the state ranked at number nine, so it has moved up since then.
The survey was conducted this year and it involved over 500 CEO’s. Chief Executive also looked at the taxes, regulations and the quality of the workforce in each state. Naturally, very liberal states, like New York and Massachusetts, ranked last on the list.
Meanwhile, Texas has been number one on the list for 11 years, with 1.2 million jobs created in the state since 2007.
