This whole week’s been lousy, we can all agree with that. Everybody’s losin’ everything, the whole place is a mess, it’s not over yet and we all just want it to be over.
And havin’ somebody to blame would help, right?
Well, that’s taken care of. We have a confession!
Seriously.
OK, not seriously. But this was fun…
Dude, no. ULL’s football team didn’t flood all the houses in Highland Ridge in Lafayette (which, considerin’ it flooded, might not be so highland a ridge, if you think about it). They just got a sports information social media dude or dudette for whom Ingrish might be a second language.
Or unless the strength coach figured out that rippin’ sheetrock and baseboard was better exercise than bench presses. Which Imma say he didn’t.
But anyway, we got a kick out of it.
And kudos to coach Mark Hudspeth and his guys for bein’ great citizens in Lafayette. They’re a real credit to the community, and they’re gonna do great this year.
