Want a Geode Cookie? Only in Dallas … [videos]

Bake Hard Bakery in Dallas, Texas creates cookies that are almost too realistic-looking and pretty to eat. The owner, Liz Welch, was inspired by the popularity of geodes in fashion and beauty and decided to make geode cookies, which Insider Picks featured in the short video below and Pop Shop America calls, “boho magic.” Welch makes incredibly detailed and decorative cookies, pastries, and sweets designed as animals, flowers, and geodes, and much more.

Welch told Pop Shop that she learned cooking from her mother who made everything from scratch growing up. She also grew up around family and friends who were incredibly supportive and creative. She loves food and spent many years working in restaurants and exploring different types of food. She eats paleo and eats everything homemade including mayonnaise and ketchup.
