Hayride Radio – Tuesday, April 9, 2019: John Bel Edwards’ Camp Is Triggered

Congressman Ralph Abraham made an appearance at the opening of the 2019 Legislative session on Monday. As a member of Congress, he has a spot on the dais. apparently, Governor John Bel Edwards’ people didn’t take too kindly to Abraham’s appearance at his state-of-the-state speech, and promptly blasted the Congressman for it on social media. In today’s daily installment of Hayride Radio, Scott and Brian talk about whether or not calling so much attention to Abraham’s presence in the House chamber Monday was a good idea, or diverted the focus of the day away from their own guy.

This was the second installment of the daily version of Hayride Radio – in the first, from Monday of this week, Brian and Scott talked about the controversy from late last week over LSU football coach Ed Orgeron’s endorsement of John Bel Edwards, and in the weekend hour-long version of Hayride Radio, recorded on Friday, Brian and Scott had LABI president Stephen Waguespack and House Speaker Taylor Barras on hand to preview the 2019 Regular Legislative Session which debuted on Monday and resulted in the Edwards camp’s hissy fit.
