MARSH MAN MASSON: Oh, Man! The Fish Wouldn’t Leave This Alone

One of my absolute favorite things to do is introduce kids to the marshes I love, and I had the pleasure of doing that this week when I took 12-year-old Trace Dorris on a trip in my Avid.

Trace loves fishing golf-course ponds, but he’d never so much as targeted a speckled trout or redfish, so we set out to score firsts on both those species.
