The Taylor Swift Nonsense and the Texas Border Crisis–Two Steps of the Same Dance

This month has seen baby steps with election interference and more baby steps with the Epstein-child trafficking story in the American public’s great awakening. It has seen baby steps with understanding the nuances of Middle East politics and war and the bloodlust Republicans like Lindsey Graham and Nikki Haley harbor in their hearts.

Everyone has known for a long time that the world is sick. But more and more Americans are waking up to the root of that sickness, and more importantly, to the fact that We the People really do hold the power of influence in this country.

It’s just taking time for the scales to hit a tipping point, a societal phenomenon explored in an important book by Malcolm Gladwell.

Basically it says that the road to change will be very, very slow until the number of people understanding the change hits a certain number, at which  point the change will spread like a virus (a real one!) and inundate public opinion.

The tipping point is that magic moment when an idea, trend, or social behavior crosses a threshold, tips, and spreads like wildfire. Just as a single sick person can start an epidemic of the flu, so too can a small but precisely targeted push cause a fashion trend, the popularity of a new product, or a drop in the crime rate. This widely acclaimed bestseller, in which Malcolm Gladwell explores and brilliantly illuminates the tipping point phenomenon, is already changing the way people throughout the world think about selling products and disseminating ideas.

I know there are a lot of people out there seeing only the darkness seemingly coming at us every day. But from an aerial view and looking at these things as steps of the same dance, we might see a shift in the narratives the government-media apparatus have used to enslave our minds for so long.

And the simple reason is that more people actually have access to this information now and are paying attention.

I realize a minority shareholder of the New York Yankees isn’t the best endorsement for my perspective, but what Patrick Bet-David says here is, to some degree with maybe a dissenting nuance or two, what some of my recent work has been aiming at. Warning, mild language:

Today I present two seemingly polar-opposite stories that actually illustrate once again how everything connects and how I believe we are absolutely taking strides to changing our own story, to overthrowing a sinisterly silent tyrannical federal government.

This entire asymmetrical shadow war, filled with lies, with truth, with misinformation, and with deceptions on both the white and black hat sides, is all about one thing.

Waking the American public up to what nefarious dealings have been going on right under our noses for decades, even centuries.

Among other high-attention stories in the news, there is the ultra-important-on-the-surface border tension between Texas and the US federal government and the not-important-in-the-least-bit-on-the surface public romance between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

Well, it isn’t all that important to most folks. There are exceptions, of course.

Should have been more embarrassed. Come on. If I am wrong about this mass awakening by the general public, and I very well could be, it will be because there is an insurmountable number of people like this who worship idols and don’t have the dignity not to post it.

But in all seriousness, if these two seemingly disparate stories like Texas and Taylor are catching the attention of my young high school students, I know it is catching the attention of Americans paying even more attention. And that is the whole point of this great awakening.

The NFL universe has been saturated with the nauseating Taylor Swift-Travis Kelce romance for months now, and it was even more obvious after Sunday’s Chiefs’ victory over the Ravens. Both ESPN and Sports Illustrated provided us a totally necessary story of their kiss and embrace on the field after the game.

Yes, totally necessary.

For a couple of months now, we have talked in my class about the likelihood that Taylor Swift is being put in our collective face for a reason, that she is being used as a political pawn because of her sway with young people, with young voters. I guessed, and still do, that it will have something to do with the 2024 election, and possibly even a coming new “vaccine” since her beau is known as “Mr Pfizer” in some circles these days. Last month’s story on Jesse Watters’ Fox News show did nothing to calm my questions.

Of course Mockingbird’s pathetic minions were quick to pounce on Watters and his “fake story,” without actually addressing completely valid documents and footage. Just take a look here at a simple Google Search, where the actual Fox News video isn’t shown immediately (at the time of this post’s publication), but a litany of fact-checkers and pejorative-laced headlines are. In fact, The View–or should we say The Vile–actually spliced out the most important tangible information Watters offered, which was actually footage of globalists floating this idea around at one of their meetings.

Not even a story worth considering, right, Whoopi? It apparently is right up there with a certain Hunter Biden laptop and all the evidence of pedophilia, treason, and other infamously heinous crimes the federal government just doesn’t feel is all that worth our time. I wonder if The Vile would say big Whoop about that too.

Or if they would comment on a NY Times article titled “Inside Biden’s Anti-Trump Battle Plan (and Where Taylor Swift Fits In).”

I’m sure it’s nothing.

All of it is so obvious that the point is clear: it is part of the great awakening, and at this point in the war we should be happy about the censorship. Because along with such blatant censorship, the American public is learning to see the contrast between truth and lie and to simply believe the opposite of what Mockingbird tells us.

The Taylor Swift nonsense and different media outlets’ respective responses to it provide a similar lesson to what is going on at the Texas border.  The similarity is not with the actual standoff between state and federal governments, of course–that is an actual story worth following. But the similarity lies in the lesson that millions upon millions of Americans are learning, again, as if they were taking that high school civics class once more.

Now, though, people are actually paying attention in class.

Because in some measure thanks to people like Tucker Carlson and Elon Musk and X, the American people are learning–sometimes for the first time–things every American should learn as a teenager. Take Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution, for instance.

This isn’t just America. It is the United States of America. This isn’t a democracy, not in the strictest sense. It is a constitutional republic.

Here are some of House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) recent posts on X. He seems to have gotten a little more aggressive on this issue, which we hope is a sign of things to come.

The American people may not know all the civics in this case, but they are smart enough to recognize federal government malfeasance when they see it. And that is making more and more people circle around and go digging for the civics of it all. In large measure, as my young bright minds in the classroom are proving, America is realizing how important it is that Texas not kowtow to the pressure. With nearly thirty states standing firmly behind it, Texas can prove to be a lighthouse for citizens across the country to realize how far the propaganda machine has moved us away from what is supposed to be a constitutional republic in this country. It should be the rule of law that governs this nation, with proper trust and power going to the states, a national foundation too many had forgotten.

Until 2020. Until now.

People are paying attention to this story and the Taylor Swift story, both for different reasons, both leading to the same shift in the narrative–not to mention a shift of the power. They are, more and more, seeing the difference between a democracy and a republic, between mob rule and law and order. It is my hope that this drama plays out in a way that re-educates Americans on the truth of the Civil War, on the truth that the same propaganda machine pushing a romance between two meaningless entertainers who fans know only through a screen has done everything it could to mask the fundamental truth of what America is, on the truth that the rhythm of this whole national dance actually belongs to We the People, not them.

May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
