In a move that might seem like progress to some, the White House has launched an investigation into unlawful straw donations and foreign contributions in American elections. A step in the right direction, yes. But let’s be clear—this is only a small part of a much bigger picture.
Do we really think a handful of investigations will undo decades of entrenched corruption?
Here is an excerpt of that memorandum:
Specifically, these reports raise concerns that malign actors are seeking to evade Federal source and amount limitations on political contributions by breaking down large contributions from one source into many smaller contributions, nominally attributed to numerous other individuals, potentially without the consent or even knowledge of the putative contributors. The reports also raise concerns that such “straw donations” are being made through “dummy” accounts, potentially using gift cards or prepaid credit cards to evade detection.
Further, there is evidence to suggest that foreign nationals are seeking to misuse online fundraising platforms to improperly influence American elections. A recent House of Representatives investigation revealed that a platform named ActBlue had in recent years detected at least 22 “significant fraud campaigns”, nearly half of which had a foreign nexus. During a 30-day window during the 2024 campaign, the platform detected 237 donations from foreign IP addresses using prepaid cards, indicating that this activity remains a pressing concern.
These activities undermine the integrity of our electoral process.
This isn’t new, and it certainly isn’t surprising, at least for the people who do the work instead of contributing their genius with those effeminate laughing emojis and comments without even reading the article.
We spotlighted ActBlue’s suspicious activity back in October, just before the election.
Here is an article on the topic. In 2009, we saw George Soros and his billionaire allies setting up a machine that would dominate political fundraising. MoveOn.org, ActBlue—they’ve been the talking heads for radical leftist agendas long before most people noticed:
In an era when the most vehement proponents of big government happen to be the most politically active billionaires, it is not surprising that the Democracy Alliance, a collaborative of liberal donors led by George Soros and Peter B. Lewis, has set out on an offensive to pile funds into the liberal machine.
The tactics of Soros, his constituent investors and foundations are revealed easily — and in considerable detail — by an examination of the seemingly “grassroots” groups that this very non-grassroots collection of billionaires and bureaucrats fund.
In fact, staples of the “grassroots” political movement — especially progressive websites such as MoveOn.org and ActBlue — are not driven by the average Democrat, as their image may suggest, but are rather mouthpieces for the radical agendas of the likes of Soros and labor unions. […]
Indeed, the crumbs here and there are absolutely progress. But none of it matters if the American people don’t connect the dots. We have to see the crumbs for what they are–an entire network that has infiltrated every level of governance, from Washington to grassroots organizations.
A simple tweak here and there will not fix this.
Just look at what the judges are doing right now to Trump.
Who do we think paid those judges? Who do we think placed them?
Such entrenched corruption must make us say, “Damn, the termites are too bad. The whole house has to come down,” not “Eh, Trump’ll take care of it.”
We said much of this and so much more last month when Trump signed an Executive Order on election integrity. We’ve followed this story since 2020.
Just because Trump “won” doesn’t mean we can go back to business as usual. Just because Trump “won” doesn’t disprove that 2020 was rigged–and that likely, many other elections in history were rigged too.
That includes midterms and down-ballots—the races we tend to ignore until we’re left wondering how those judges, governors, and congressmen got into power.
The White House press release touches on a real problem—foreign and domestic interference in US elections. But if this is where the story ends, we’ve missed the point entirely.
We need to ask: Who are these shady foreign entities?
And when we find out, can we confront the reality, or will we look the other way because it doesn’t fit our convenient narratives?
Trump’s remarks last October–and his statements since 2020…and 2015–aren’t just criticisms of the system. They are a rallying cry to dismantle the entire corrupt temple. And while we as Americans have grown daring in certain areas, we still have not reached a point where we can admit that elections may very well be stacked in favor of the house and that nothing any “elected” official does is legitimate anyway–since they weren’t really elected in the first place.
In other words, we know the election was corrupt when this Senator or that Senator “wins,” but then we spend the next four years discussing bills or actions that fraudulent official engages in.
What’s the point of debating policies or laws when the very foundation is rotten?
We haven’t developed the language or conversation framework to bore down to the actual rot. We’re stuck on some layer still on the surface, once the smoke of election day clears and we are forced to “just go with it.”
So should we celebrate a Trump memo like this, or should we roll our eyes?
Hm.
I say we celebrate–but actively.
With anger.
We cannot be passive. We must say, ok, what does that mean? Where does this kind of thing lead? Who is our real enemy?
These crumbs aren’t meaningless.
But it is We the People who must graft the meaning to them.
Otherwise they end up jokes like so much “work” Congress does.
Or should I write “Congress”?
Committees and taskforces and mean words, oh my.
Yes, Sheer Absurdity Has Woken Up a Nation. Now What?
Executive Orders and investigations are just the beginning. They’re a mere cough in a diseased temple, but every one of them has the power to spread, to shake awake a public that’s been lulled into complacency by false promises and circus distractions.
Into complacency–just because Trump won and Biden and his high price of eggs are finally gone.
The real revolution begins when we realize that exposing a few bad actors is just the first chapter of a much longer story—a story that will ultimately reveal the truth: The entire election process has been rigged against the American people, and it may very well be unfixable as it is.
A total overhaul in government may be needed.
And yes, that’s a scary thought.
But if we’re being honest, that’s exactly what revolution and resurrection is: a hard, often painful death followed by something greater—a new beginning.
The fight isn’t about killing a few termites. It’s about taking down the entire house we’ve spent our lives trusting—and rebuilding something that actually serves us, not the insiders.
May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
