You might have seen this, or something like it; these performative, puritanical, hysterical socially-contagious reactions will almost certainly become all the rage for the rest of the week.

I imagine I’m going to start a fight here, but this is why men never wanted women to be sports reporters, have locker room access, any of it.

Arch Manning got asked about an AI video which is funny because it’s absurd. Everybody likes Holly Rowe; nobody is going to slap her. It isn’t real and it cannot be real.

It’s a Tom & Jerry cartoon. Is it crude? Why, yes. That’s part of what makes it funny. But the chaotic and unexpected nature of it is also what makes it funny.

If it was Cole Cubelic getting slapped in the video it would be just as funny. It’s Holly Rowe because she was the sideline reporter for the Ohio State-Texas game.

The men all understand this, which is why the men recognize the humor and can laugh about it. Nobody would think it was funny if Steve Sarkisian had actually slapped Holly Rowe, but we all know that didn’t happen and wouldn’t happen, so it’s something we can laugh about.

But once you let the feminists in, you can’t laugh about this or anything like it. Because now the feminists like Nicole Auerbach, who is the “college football insider” for NBC Sports despite having never spent any time on a football practice field or a locker room other than to stand around as a reporter but nevertheless is going to assert herself as a thought authority on the sport, are going to dictate to the men what they can do in men’s spaces.

Which they did, because this immediately happened.

Because of course he was made to grovel. Otherwise the corporate media would have eaten him alive.

And we’re going to spend this week lecturing Arch Manning on the sexual politics of his own sense of humor, when there is zero evidence that Arch Manning can’t act appropriately toward women. He’s never had an incident which indicates that he’s anything other than a gentleman, which his father and uncles and grandfather, who have spent decades in the public light, have consistently showed themselves to be. There is no Arch Manning problem. But we’re going to be told there is now.

When he was merely laughing about a meme involving his coach and Holly Rowe precisely because it isn’t real and further is absurd.

These were men’s spaces and they were enjoyed by men. Then they were invaded by women of a certain kind, and now the men are being lectured. For absolutely no reason.

And the lectures are going to come courtesy of people who also lecture the men that they can’t opine about women’s spaces. For example, how many of the people who will berate Arch Manning about which memes he thinks are funny are willing to listen to men’s opinions on abortion or postpartum depression, for example?

And you wonder why there are people who want to abolish the 19th Amendment. No, I don’t think they’re serious. They’re exhausted, because this is obnoxious and it’s accelerating.

Maybe there’s a compromise. Keep your 19th Amendment, but get out of men’s spaces. And let the normal men keep the sexually-confused and insane men out of your spaces. Perhaps we’ll get along a little better if we can respect those boundaries.
