So what do the Democratic primary election results from yesterday tell us? The highly favored wacko socialist Wisconsin governor candidate was beaten by an extremely Progressive Democrat, though he’s not the moderate the MSM portrays him as. And in Minnesota the highly favored wacko socialist Senate candidate blew away the competition.

This tells first that the pollsters and pundits in Wisconsin were desperate to build the case that the socialist wave was a thing, but the people were paying attention and, probably out of fear of losing in the General Election, chose the non-socialist of two really bad options.

Meanwhile the Democrats in Minnesota continue their long flirtation with political extremes and made a really bad decision based upon that. Democrats there have learned nothing from years of corruption and bad economic outcomes, and more, they continue to ignore the fact that their neighbors in Illinois have demonstrated the abject failure and corruption of Progressive think and big union dominance.

Let’s face it, the upper mid-west has historically been the home of far- Left Progressivism. Unless you count the abject failure of polling in Wisconsin, there was nothing too surprising in these results. The real history will be written in November’s General Elections. That will be the test of whether there is any conservative strength in these states away from the generally urban hotbeds of political turmoil. My hunch is that the main GOP efforts will be in the Minnesota Senate race, and that will be a cliffhanger.
