As those of you who might have seen our social-media offerings and e-mail announcements might know, on Wednesday, April 13, we’ll be hosting the first annual Hayride Spring Dinner. Proceeds will go toward a campaign we’re currently engaged in to grow the site’s social media presence, as we’ve discussed here.
Click here to get your tickets. They start at a mere $80.
Our VIP reception will begin at 5:00. Dinner is served at 6:00.
Jeff Landry, Louisiana’s attorney general, will be this year’s headline speaker. As the newly-elected holder of a crucial statewide office, Jeff is in a position to effect a good deal more positive change in the state’s governance than people credit; that’s a topic he’ll be covering.
We’ll also have state senator Bodi White of Baton Rouge as a speaker. Sen. White, who is exploring a run for mayor-president in East Baton Rouge Parish this fall, has some interesting common-sense conservative legislation he’s advancing this session, and he’ll also speak to the question of how conservatives can best affect policy in the city and the state in a time when the people in charge are most certainly not conservatives.
It’ll be a fun evening and a good time will be had by all. So get your tickets now by clicking here to register.
