…when it comes to the unmitigated fraud that is global warming and the Left’s attempts to use it as KY Jelly for their insertion of command economics into our body politic there is no happier, stronger warrior than this man.

Earmarks are an easy target, but anyone in Louisiana who disparages earmarks should look at things like I-49, Avondale, the Pennington Center, the new Mississippi River Bridge, and tens of millions of dollars that have gone to LSU, UNO, Tulane and other universities . Those were all earmarks in appropriations bills and is money that would have gone elsewhere if we had not had some really good Louisiana Congressmen and Senators who put these earmarks into place. Trust me, the bureaucrats in Washington would rather have put that money into CA, NY or Massachusetts than send it down to Louisiana. Same thing for Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia. Earmarks can be abused, and have been, but they have been the lifeblood of our state in the past. So, be careful what you wish for.
Thanks anyway, but I’d rather just have the full share of the offshore oil royalties and fund those improvements ourselves.
