Quote Of The Day, June 1, 2011

“Louisiana’s greatest jobs challenge is restarting drilling in the Gulf. So President Obama nominates someone as his jobs secretary who co-founded the group that files more baseless lawsuits against drilling than any other. This is deeply, deeply disturbing.”

- Sen. David Vitter, upon yesterday’s announcement that John Bryson, the co-founder of the hard-left environmentalist Natural Resource Defense Council, is the Obama administration’s new choice for Commerce Secretary.

The enviroment must be protected, I agree. But which is worst the low risk of an oil leak or the the very high risk of people from our great state going without jobs. It will impact many, including the so called environmentalist.  Let him go with out a job for years and see what he is realy made of!

Why should we be surprised?  Liz Birnbaum, former head of MMS, was cut from the same cloth as head of American Rivers during the time between serving in the Clinton Admin and working as an aide for Nancy Pelosi (after the the 2006 elections).
