Energy Transfer Partners hired Mary Landrieu as their lobbyist to get the Bayou Bridge Pipeline approved. Environmentalists have mobilized against it and are trying their best to kill it.

The protesters can be heard shouting at Landrieu and calling her a “traitor” and saying she sold out. Landrieu pointed out that she would be there even if she was a volunteer.
