Nebraska Democrat Party Official Wishes Steve Scalise Was Dead

Another Democratic party official has been caught on tape wishing Steve Scalise dead. Phil Montag who is co-chair of the state party’s technology committee says he wishes Scalise was dead because of his views on healthcare.

From the Daily Wire:

According to NTV ABC in Nebraska, a Nebraska Democratic Party official was caught on tape stating he wished House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, who was shot at a baseball practice last week, was dead and that he was glad he had been shot.

An audio recording released on YouTube Thursday revealed Phil Montag, co-chair of the state party’s technology committee, saying of Scalise, “His whole job is to get people, convince Republicans to (expletive) kick people off (expletive) health care. I’m glad he got shot,” adding, “I wish he was (expletive) dead.”

On Thursday, Nebraska Democratic Party Chairwoman Jane Kleeb, who had been alerted to Montag’s remarks after The World-Herald sent her a link to the recording on a black advocacy website, as Omaha.comreported, told FOX 42 News that the tape was indeed of Montag. She emailed Omaha.com, “This is the first I am hearing this. As soon as I heard it, I sent it to the (party) officers and then sent an email to Phil Montag informing him I am removing him from his appointed position as Co-Chair of the Technology Committee. … Wishing a Member of Congress or any individual dead is disgusting and has no place in our party.”

The shooting was a result of a radicalized leftist. All the shooter did was take the rhetoric of the far left to its radical conclusion. Many on the left believe conservative policies kill people. In their eyes, they’re just defending those that they think will die because of the right.

The left hates those of us on the right. It’s long past time we come to grips with that and act accordingly.

On the other hand, it is good people like Phil Montag keep telling us what they really think. The truth is always very revealing.
