Congressman John Fleming of Shreveport is once again fighting against federal regulation of hydraulic fracturing. Yesterday he offered an amendment to keep fracking out of the hands of the feds, which industry studies show will increase costs and short-circuit the coming natural gas energy revolution without have any measureable effect on safety or the environment.
