We’re Now Working On @large 2014, And We Need Your Help Now

At the end of May, as most of our readers know, we held the first annual @large conference in Baton Rouge.

It was a great showcase for black conservatives at a time it’s crucial as many of them as possible become prominent in American politics. The Left is doing everything it can to radicalize the black community into hard-core socialism, and thanks to the construct it has created whereby all white Republicans or conservatives are branded as racist it’s going to take a flood of black conservatives speaking out against their actions to prevent a bad break from the mainstream.

We saw this was happening long ago. The @large conference is one way we’re trying to push back against it.

The initial @large conference gave us a great newsmaking event – namely, Sen. Elbert Guillory’s switch to the GOP.

We’ve had a tremendous amount of positive response to @large, and that response has encouraged us to plan a bigger, better conference next year.

More speakers. Bigger names. More fun. More networking. More converts to the cause.

That means more sponsors and more supporters.

Which means you.

We’ve had some interesting developments as we’ve begun planning for the second year, and one in particular we thought was worth passing along – namely, that a donor has come forward with an offer to provide a 25 percent match for all donations to @large by August 20.

The funds will go toward a number of items we’ll need to take care of. Securing the venue, launching a marketing plan, booking speakers and other things a conference like this will require.

Getting started early helps bring the cost of these things down. And with our donor willing to match what we bring in by August 20, donating $100 to next year’s @large is like donating $125. We’re shooting for $10,000 in donations, which for our purposes will equal $12,500 with our donor’s match.

Will you consider helping to make @large a force in the political landscape? Will you help us develop an alternative to the Obama/Sharpton agenda in the black community?

We hope you will. Click the image below and help us get @large 2014 off to a great start!
