GOT ‘EM: Three Arrested In Viral Bourbon Street Fight

Three men allegedly involved with the viral Bourbon Street fight have been arrested and charged by the Louisiana State Police and the New Orleans Police Department (NOPD), according to NOLA.com.

The men arrested were allegedly a part of a fight on Bourbon Street in downtown New Orleans outside of the Bourbon Heat which went viral on the internet after a woman posted it to her Facebook page.

Here’s the list of the arrested men via NOLA.com’s Heather Nolan:

  • Demetrius Domingues, 22; criminal trespassing, disturbing the peace by fighting, simple criminal damage to property, probation violation.
  • Jovon Murrey, 20; criminal trespassing, disturbing the peace by fighting.
  • Potong Tom Davis Jr., 22; distribution of illegal narcotics, criminal trespassing, probation violation.

All three were arrested in Jefferson Parish at a house, State Police Superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson told the Times Picayune.

Also, NOPD is on the lookout for a fourth suspect, 20 year-old Enruqie Alvarado, also known as KIque Wolf Alvarado.

Edmonson said the four men are members of the “New Boyz” group and were allegedly planning on starting another fight sometime during this weekend.

The fight, from the looks of the video, shows several men fighting outside of the Bourbon Heat and even a few women are involved. The video was captured on Sunday night and security staff at the bar where apparently part of the incident as well.

Most interesting in the video is that there is no New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) officers seen throughout the four minute footage. And when questioned about the NOPD presence, the NOPD’s 8th District provided documentation that they were on the scene 10 minutes after the fight started. An emergency call was made 2:30 am and the NOPD arrived at 2:40 am.
