He’s assuming himself the nominee, though Trump didn’t get all the wins he said he was getting. He managed seven wins in the 11 primaries on Super Tuesday, with Cruz winning three and Marco Rubio finally getting a victory in Minnesota, though he didn’t get the delegate blowout that was predicted.
Still, any candidate with 10 primary wins in 15 tries would be expected to start acting like his party’s nominee, and this is how Trump does it. It comes off as Trump – he says all the same things he’s been saying, but he says it in a more understated tone.
