A New Way to Battle Breast Cancer in Baytown: Dancing [video]

The crossing guard for Goose Creek Independent School District in Baytown, Texas dances every day in her fight against breast cancer– and brings a smile to everyone’s face.

Battling breast cancer for a second time, Bonnie Woodard, is determined to smile and dance every day– to cheer her up and keep everyone else on their toes. She told the local news:

When I wake up in the morning I just ask God to fill my heart, soul and mouth with Him, and let me spread it throughout the world.

My struggles go every day. I wake up with my struggles, now I’m going throughout my breast cancer I have my mother here who is going through Alzheimer’s and stage four kidney disease and I’m taking care of her.

Despite her struggles, she maintains keeping a positive attitude and dancing helps her keep up her fight. Others seem to agree, as videos of her dancing and smiling have gone viral, and her dance moves have taken YouTube and social media by storm.

She certainly gets an A for enthusiasm, effort, and the recognition as possibly one of the best crossing guards ever.
