Vice President’s House Christmas Decorations Includes “Patriotic Tree” [videos]

Mrs. Pence gave a tour of the decorations of the Vice President’s House, paying special attention to their “Patriotic Tree” and making sure one of their most loved four-legged family members participated in the tour.

Stars hang from the ceiling. White and gold decorate mantels and windowsills. And, Harley, featured in the first video below, delivers presents. Two of their cats died earlier this year, Pickles and Oreo. Their rabbit, Marlon Bundo is still kicking, or jumping. And the Pence family welcomed two new animals this past June into their home: a kitten named Hazel, and a dog named Harley, who was a gift to the Vice President for Father’s Day.

The Patriotic Tree is decorated in red, white, and blue. Some of the ornaments are made by children of U.S. servicemen and women and after the holiday the family returns them to the children. Their gift is the gift that quite literally keeps on giving.
