Perfect example of socialism: O’Rourke won’t share his donations with other Democrats

According to The New York Times, Democrats argue that they might be able to win in their close Senate races in Missouri, Florida, and Indiana if Texas Congressman Robert O’Rourke would share his campaign donations with them.

O’Rourke has no intention of sharing a penny of his $38. million– despite the fact that he’s amassed the largest amount of donations in U.S. Senate history.

Instead, he plans to spend it all before Election Day.

O’Rourke suggested that if his donors wanted to support other candidates, they were free to do so. The Washington Examiner reported that O’Rourke said,

“I’ve got to honor the commitment that those who’ve contributed to this campaign have made to me, and their desire that we use this to win this election. If they want to contribute to someone else, they should do so. If they want to contribute to a campaign that’s going to win this historic victory for Texas and the country, then I’m grateful for the contribution and I’m going to make the most of it, so that’s what we’re focused on.”

Asked if he would share his war chest, O’Rourke answered, “No. I’m focused on Texas. Most of our contributions have come from Texas. All of them have come from people. Not a dime from PACs. Folks contributed to this race because they want us to win this race. If they want to contribute to another campaign, of course they’re welcome to do that. No, we’re going to spare no expense. We will bare any burden to make sure that we deliver for this state and for this country. That means a victory on the 6th of November.”

When his opponent Sen. Ted Cruz was asked about O’Rourke sharing his campaign funds, he said,

“It would seem that if the Democratic Party wants to embrace the principles of socialism, they should take the money his campaign has raised and give it to all the campaigns that haven’t raised any money — and I wouldn’t put it past them. I’ll let Democratic Party strategists worry about their own party’s strategy.”

But what Cruz is missing is that socialists don’t share their own money– they take money from other people and give that money to others who haven’t earned it.

Stalin lived in a palace.
Lenin never worked.
Trotsky was an elitist.

Lenin and Trotsky weren’t even their real names– they stole those names from dead people’s identification cards.

They all advocated stealing from others– and killing others– who didn’t agree with them or whom they thought had too much wealth or possessions that should be taken and given to the state.

It’s why O’Rourke has no problem advocating that American property and resources be taken from citizens and given to illegals who don’t deserve any of it.

Socialism isn’t sharing O’Rourke’s family’s property with illegals– it’s stealing other peoples’ property and resources to give to illegals.

Not sharing his money with other Democrats is completely consistent with socialism.
