The report analyzed all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The metrics it evaluated ranged from police friendliness, to mean annual wage ($63,380 being the national average for police officers), retirement and health benefits, tuition aid, access to fitness programs, police death rates and police community relations.
Georgia’s total score was 38.79 out of 100. The state ranked 37th on “Opportunity and Competition,” 30th on “Job Hazards and Protections” and 49th on “Quality of Life.”
