The Museum of the Bible’s new season of programming running through May 2020 is one of the most diverse yet– from unveiling a thousand-year-old Jewish manuscript to showcasing art that depicts the Apocalypse.

Its temporary exhibitions, educational programming and events are designed to appeal to a wide variety of ages and interests.

“Our new season truly has something for everyone,” Museum of the Bible CEO Ken McKenzie said in a statement. “This slate of offerings is the result of our continuing research, scholarship and curation, all aimed at how to best live out our mission to invite everyone to engage with the Bible through all aspects of the museum’s programming.”

Its upcoming special exhibitions include:

• A Fence around the Torah, the first-ever display of an ancient Hebrew Bible, November 8, 2019-March 29, 2020
• “Inventors of the Alphabet” from the Vatican Library, November 14, 2019-May 14, 2020
• With a Mighty Hand: The Art and History of the Passover Haggadah, a display of illuminated Haggadot from the past 500 years, February 7-May 10, 2020

Its upcoming events include:

• Christmastime Is Here with Canadian Brass, December 19, 2019
• One Voice, a concert featuring three world-renowned cantors, January 26, 2020
• Museum of the Bible’s Festival of Choirs, a national choir competition, May 1-3, 2020

Educational programming consists of:

• Visions of the Apocalypse, a special night of discussion and art centered on the Apocalypse, October 10, 2019
• Who Is an Evangelical?, a conversation featuring Dr. Thomas Kidd, Dr. Russell Moore and Reverend Thabiti Anyabwile about the state of evangelicalism in America, October 29, 2019
• The Bible in Our Hands, Dr. Gary Rendsburg explains the story of the Hebrew Bible, February 2, 2020
