DeSantis Victories Should Be Lighthouse for LA Legislature, Landry

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is obviously not running for President anymore, or his perfectly timed string of victories would have really provided him a lift going into tonight’s Super Tuesday.  It’s almost like the timeline was meant to benefit Trump as well.

I offer some less conventional, admittedly conspiratorial, thoughts on this here. It’s fun to consider, if nothing else.

But from a purely objective standpoint, it is difficult to avoid wondering about the timing of all of this. In the days leading up to DeSantis’s exit from the race, he couldn’t have looked worse. And now, right before it would haven’t benefitted him most, he perhaps couldn’t look any better.

In a matter of days last week, DeSantis posted multiple damning messages to Joe Biden on X, spotlighting his refusal to release the federal government’s Epstein files and his refusal to close the border and get tougher on illegal aliens–especially Jose Antonio Ibarra, Laken Riley’s murderer and a released convict. This, in addition to his signing of HB 117, which allows for the public release of grand jury documents related to notorious child trafficker Jeffrey Epstein, going all the way back to a 2006 investigation.

After our release of that article on Friday, DeSantis scored another huge win for conservatism, common sense, and Christian principles when the University of Florida fired all DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) staff.

Effective immediately.

“To comply with the Florida Board of Governor’s regulation 9.016 on prohibited expenditures, the University of Florida has closed the Office of the Chief Diversity Officer, eliminated DEI positions and administrative appointments, and halted DEI-focused contracts with outside vendors,” reads a statement from Provost J. Scott Angle.

In January, Florida’s Board of Governors voted to ban state funding of DEI programs across all public universities in the state. The vote brought public universities into compliance with legislation signed by DeSantis last May to defund DEI programs at state universities and colleges. The legislation is a gold mine of sound conservative policy, stipulating that a state university cannot use any funds–state or federal–to promote or maintain any campus programs that “advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion” or “promote or engage in political or social activism.” Florida is on the cutting edge of eradicating far-Left ideologies pushed through DEI programs in state colleges and universities, places that must get back to being centers of education and not woke propaganda.

It is clear that Florida, and Texas for that matter, are two states leading the charge in the states’ ongoing, united divorce from DC. Given this and the victories just recently scored by the Louisiana legislature and Governor Landry on crime, let’s hope the Pelican State joins its southern neighbors in earning respect from the rest of America First patriots across the country by continuing to do what they were elected to do.

May everyone named directly or referenced indirectly ask forgiveness and do penance for their sins against America and God. I fight this information war in the spirit of justice and love for the innocent, but I have been reminded of the need for mercy and prayers for our enemies. I am a sinner in need of redemption as well after all, for my sins are many. In the words of Jesus Christ himself, Lord forgive us all, for we know not what we do.
