If You’re In Bossier City, You Might Want To Check Out John Fleming Tonight

Congressman John Fleming is set to begin his “Louisiana Liberty Tour” to campaign for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by David Vitter. His first stop is in his congressional district, Bossier City.

Here’s the press release:

Congressman Fleming will, among other topics, discuss his plans to address the mounting national debt crisis, fight Barack Obama’s amnesty plans, and why he chose to be a founding member of the House Freedom Caucus and lead the fight to force Speaker John Boehner to step down.

Dinner will be provided.  Space is limited, so attendees are encouraged RSVP to JC@FlemingForLA.com.

The theme is consistent with Fleming’s messaging. He’s going to be going for the conservative activist base, along with Rob Maness. There have been some signs, even in north Louisiana, that Maness has made inroads among conservative activists. This is a problem that Fleming needs to solve right now.

Plus there’s nothing wrong with a town hall meeting with the constituents that doubles as an official campaign appearance. It’s wise of Fleming to shore up his north Louisiana base and begin to campaign.

We hope to bring more information about Fleming’s “Louisiana Liberty Tour” later this week.
