The theme is consistent with Fleming’s messaging. He’s going to be going for the conservative activist base, along with Rob Maness. There have been some signs, even in north Louisiana, that Maness has made inroads among conservative activists. This is a problem that Fleming needs to solve right now.
Plus there’s nothing wrong with a town hall meeting with the constituents that doubles as an official campaign appearance. It’s wise of Fleming to shore up his north Louisiana base and begin to campaign.
We hope to bring more information about Fleming’s “Louisiana Liberty Tour” later this week.
