From yesterday, some footage of what flash flooding looks like when it hits mountain creeks in the Rockies.
It’s a little on the scary side, naturally. When you’re in a canyon, there isn’t a whole lot of space for that water to flow in. Get enough of it and it’ll go where it shouldn’t.
We know a good bit about flooding here, of course, but to see it in the mountains in Colorado is something else entirely.
