University of Virginia business school ranks 12th best in U.S.

University of Virginia’s Darden Business School tied for 12th best among U.S. colleges offering master of business administration programs, according to a new study by U.S. News that examined 367 schools. It tied with NYU’s Stern School of Business.

The Charlottesville school has an annual in-state tuition rate for full-time students of $62,464 and an enrollment of 660 full-time students.

U.S. News only ranked 131 schools out of the 367, based on which schools provided adequate data about their MBA programs to U.S. News. The data was evaluated based on a weighted average of indicators including test scores, recruiter assessments, acceptance rates and student grade-point averages.
