Mary Landrieu Is Gettin’ A Visit From Bill Clinton

With the November Senate race just around the corner, Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) has invited the one and only former President Bill Clinton to come down to Louisiana to campaign with her.

Clinton will take the stage in at any minute with Landrieu at a campaign rally for early voting. This is the second time Clinton has campaign with Landrieu, who is facing a challenging re-election against Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA).

So far at the rally, everyone’s favorite Democrats have spoken: State Sen. Ben Nevers, State Sen. Karen Carter Peterson, State Rep. John Bel Edwards and former Gov. Kathleen Blanco.

Though Clinton is infamously known for getting with a White House intern, there is one Democrat Landrieu will not touch with a ten-foot pole: former Gov. Edwin Edwards. Edwards is nowhere to be found at the Landrieu campaign rally.

Stay with us for coverage of the Clinton-Landrieu rally. We’ll have an update once Clinton and Landrieu hit the stage.
