Mary Landrieu May Be The Most Ineffective Energy Chair Ever

Now that Rep. Bill Cassidy (R-LA) has been promised a seat on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee and Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) is set to lose her chairmanship on the committee, Landrieu took to the Senate floor today to make one last case about the Keystone XL Pipeline.

But, the truth is, Landrieu has ignored the Keystone XL Pipeline project for nearly two years, failing to ever get a vote on the matter on the Senate floor, even though she promised she had the votes whipped to get a full Senate vote. And not to mention, the Senators who have ignored Landrieu on the matter are the same ones Landrieu donated to, like Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV).
