As a friend of ours mentioned tonight, John Delgado really picked a bad day to throw around accusations of terrorism on the part of people who are circulating petitions in pursuit of a ballot measure. He spent the whole day doubling down on that idiocy, and then tonight the news broke of a mass-murder at Ft. Hood that most folks immediately suspected was a terrorist incident.
But even before that, it was notable that Delgado missed no opportunity to flog his analogy of the St. George crowd in front of every media outlet in town.
And the Channel 2 report on this exercise in political suicide is really not something to be missed. What Chris Nakamoto did to Delgado today is illegal in 17 states.
